The Police Administration has expressed its appreciation to motorists and the public, especially in Accra, for their cooperation during the long traffic hold up last Thursday.
The traffic was as a result of visits by Very Very Important Personalities (VVIPs) into the country on November 30.
The appreciation was in a statement signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police David Eklu, Director-General of Public Affairs, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Friday.
It said: “The Police regret the unintended inconvenience caused as a result of the complex traffic arrangements put in place to facilitate the movements of the VVIPs.
