Police Arrest Female Robbery Gang Leader
A 23-YEAR-OLD woman, alleged to be the leader of a dangerous and dreaded robbery gang, at Sepease Edwafo, has been apprehended by the police.
Jessica Asieduwaa, who is believed to be dangerous and slippery, was arrested by the Atwima Nwabiagya Divisional Police Command, upon a tip-off.
She is reported to have on several occasions escaped arrest, even though she had been on the radar of the security agents for a long time.
Her arrest had sparked jubilations at Sepease Edwafo and the neighboring communities, where Jessica and her group had terrorized the people in the past.
Other accomplices arrested in the raid were identified as Isaac Frimpong, 26; Kofi Bio, 24 and Emmanuel Agyei, a 17-year-old teenager.
The Police Chief at Atwima Nwabiagya, DSP Emmanuel Asiamah, lauded his men for embarking on a yeoman’s job, which led to the arrest of the suspects.
He however appealed to the public to always feed the police with information that would lead to the arrest of criminals.
