POLICE ARE investigating a possible suicide case after the discovery of a lifeless male body, which was dangling on a rope in a shed at Kunsu, in the Ashanti Region in Saturday morning.
The deceased, identified as Akomia Azalo, who is believed to be 42 years old, reportedly, did not display any sign that he was troubled so he would tragically end his own life in that weird manner.
It therefore became a huge surprise to the inhabitants is Azalo’s brother’s house at Kunsu, where the lifeless body was discovered hanging on a rope, which was tied to a shed, around 6am.
A police document which confirmed the death of Azalo, stated that the body has since been deposited in a mortuary for preservation and post mortem to establish the exact cause of death.
“On 02/09/23 at 0810hrs Martin Agolimah of Mankranso called at the station”, a police report which The NEW PUBLISHER has seen, disclosed.
“He reported that on same day about 0600hrs one Akomia Azalo, aged 42, was found hanging dead in a shed in his brother’s house at Kunsu near Mankranso”.
The police then rushed to the scene and they (police) indeed saw a lifeless male body, which was later identified as Akomia Azalo, hanging on a tight rope in a shed.
“Inspection revealed no external mark of assault. Body deposited at Plus Lab. Mortuary, Mankranso for further action”, the report said, adding that investigations were underway.
