“Very soon, we will cut the sod for the construction of a modern police station at Bantama”, he announced in public recently.
According to Francis Asenso-Boakye, the gesture forms part of his contribution to improve the security in all the electoral areas within the Bantama Constituency.
He explained that Bantama, a boisterous constituency, deserves a modern police station that befits the status of Bantama.
Asenso-Boakye was speaking when he presented 700 pieces of streetlights for onward distribution to the various electoral areas in Bantama.
According to him, the streetlights are intended to illumine Bantama Constituency during the night, thereby preventing cases of crime.
Asenso-Boakye said there have been reported cases of crimes at night in and around Bantama lately, adding that he would help to stop the bad trend.
He said the streetlights lights, aside beautifying Bantama in the night, would also help to reduce reported cases of crime in the area.
Asenso-Boakye added that the public should support government to improve security.
