A female police constable was on Saturday found dead in a hotel in the Eastern Region and initial suspicion, pending investigations, is she had committed suicide.
The deceased, identified as Sarah Adjei of the Quarter Master Stores, Nkawnkaw Divisional Headquarters was found dead in a pool of blood at the Misiho Hotel in Nkawkaw with a hand written letter suspected to be a suicide note in her hand bag.
The note read: “Dear Mr. Timothy Dampare, I told you that I owed people money and you decided to help me, and you have been with me in my house for one week now and you have refused to help me, so if anything happens you have caused it Mr. Timothy Dampare. Thank you 0249134983?”.
Identity of the said ‘Timothy Dampare’ is not immediately known.
According to the hotel manager, the police lady booked one of the rooms at the facility and checked in around midday on Saturday, August 7.
By evening around 7PM, the hotel manager as part of his routine checks, knocked on the door of the guest to find out if she may need something but to his shock, he found her lying dead in a prone position on the floor.
He immediately informed the nearest police station and when officers were sent to the scene, they identified the deceased.

They also found in her bag a hand written note addressed to the said Timothy Dampare.
Also found in her bag were a mirror, blue pen, padlock key, and GH¢11.60.
Her remains have since been deposited at the morgue while investigations continue to unravel what exactly may have gone wrong.
