The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), says it has substantially resolved challenges of the Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) Payment System.
Last week thousands of customers thronged various offices of the company over their inability to purchase prepaid credit leaving them without electricity. Some of the customers vented their anger after queuing for several hours yet could not obtain power for domestic and commercial use.
However, Managing Director for ECG, Samuel Boakye Appiah told Class News on Monday, December 11 that majority of the problems have been resolved.
He apologised for the inconvenience caused public vendors and indicated that the company will do everything within its power to forestall any of such challenges in the future.
