President of the Togolese Republic, President Faure Gnassingbé has received an official invitation from President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the COP28 in Dubai in November.
President Gnassingbé received the written invitation through Mr. Amer Alalawi, Head of the UAE Embassy in Ghana with accreditation to Togo, at the seat of government in Lomé.
The two discussed other important issues of cooperation between the two countries.
The 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, more commonly referred to as COP28, will be the 28th United Nations Climate Change conference, held from November 30th until December 12th, 2023 at the Expo City, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
