Race For Life At High Court Over ‘Fire Alarm’

There was pandemonium at the New Court Complex in Accra over an alleged false fire alarm this morning.

It is unclear who might have started the fire rumour.

Litigants and lawyers alike momentarily abandoned the courts as they were caught in a fierce battle for life as they storm out of the various courts in a search for a safe haven.

Business activity came to an abrupt end as traders who had also thronged the courts to do brisk business did not spare the opportunity to escape from the scene.

As at the time of filling this report, calm had returned to the premises which houses over 40 specialized courts.
