Rain Destroys Computers at Atonsu

SEVERAL PIECES of brand new computers and accessories have been destroyed after Atonsu S-Line, in the Asokwa Municipality, was flooded.

Different brands of computers, packaged in boxes, got destroyed after flood waters made their way into a computer warehouse in the area.

Raging waters also flooded several houses in the area and in the process, countless household appliances and furniture were soaked, while many people were trapped in their homes for hours.

Speaking to THE PUBLISHER, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) First Vice Chairman of the area, Edmund Kyei, said he had to respond to calls by residents of the area by providing a water pumping machine for use whenever it rained.

He, however, appealed to residents in the area to desist from constructing houses at unapproved places and waterways.
