A HEAVY downpour, which was accompanied with strong winds, has caused massive havoc at the Ejuraman Senior High School (SHS).
The Monday rainstorm, reportedly, ripped off the roofing sheets of the school’s dormitory, which was then being occupied by over 120 students on Monday.
About 40 students, unfortunately, sustained various degrees of injuries. But five of the students suffered life-threatening injuries and required treatment.
According to some of the students that survived the scary incident, the roofing sheets fell heavily on the helpless students and trapped them in the process.
The students, reportedly, cried bitterly for help. Some of the students mustered courage and carried away the roofing sheets from their trapped colleagues.
Considering the enormity of the disaster, the school called the personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to the school to help save the trapped students.
