Rapper ‘Frequency’ Changes Name To Kwame Dame

Ghanaian rapper who was formerly known as FreQuency has inform the media and the general public about the change of his stage name to Kwame Dame.

In a press statement on Monday said, “Management wishes to inform the media and the general public about the change of his stage name to Kwame Dame. Kwame Dame is the birth name of the rapper and he resolves to use it as his official stage name.”

According to the management, the change of name has been necessitated “for easy recognition locally and internationally as he carries along with him his heritage as a Ghanaian.”

Dame now joins the list of showbiz personalities like Samini, Shatta Wale, Edem and a host of others who have changed their names over the years.
