It is so easy to get caught in the hullaballoo of the world to forget that you are not at the same level with the world. Yes, you are in the world, but never forget that you are not of the world. I know that the people in the world might be at the same academic level with you, they may even have more experience than you, but what makes you stand out is not you and your experience and expertise, it is Whom you have on the inside. It is the God-factor in you that makes a difference. That is what gives you the leading edge and keeps you at the cutting edge. Apostle Peter knew this well when he met the blind man at the gate called Beautiful, with boldness he challenged the man to look on them. If it was today, people would have said Peter was arrogant “how can you tell the man to look on you, are you God?” that would have been the accusation of people. But Peter knew whom he carried on the inside and the blind man received his sight.
Beloved, when men say there is a casting down, it is the God-factor that gives you the boldness to declare that there is a lifting for you. This is not because of who you are, but because of whose you are. You carry an expensive cargo, the value of which no one can quantify.
Look at 1 John 4:4 again : it did not say, you are of God oh giant. No! It says you are of God little children. This implies that in stature you might look small, in experience you might not be able to compete, but when it comes to the God-factor, every human element bows and you have the upper hand.
I challenge you today to begin to see yourself in the way God sees you. It is not about you; it is about God in you. It is Jesus on the inside that makes the difference.
