Return Back To Madrid – Fans Tells Mourinho

After the humiliating 3-0 loss to Eibar at the weekend, Real Madrid fans have sent an SOS call to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

It was Santiago Solari’s first game in charge since signing a permanent deal with Los Blancos as his side was unable to find the back of the net in the embarrassing defeat.

Despite the likes of Thibaut Courtois, Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Marcelo starting for Madrid, they all failed to make an impact against the side on mid-table in La Liga.

Real are now six points behind league leaders Sevilla and a point behind arch rivals Barcelona on the La Liga standings.

Solari came in as interim manager to replace sacked boss Julen Lopetugi in October, after four months in charge.

And his side rallied to four straight victories in all competitions which earned him a new deal but the weekend’s defeat to Eibar still shows his side have a long way to go.

With Real Madrid fans aware of the situation, some of the travelling fans brought a banner with them to the Ipurua Municipal Stadium, which was directed at Mourinho.

The United manager’s face was also on it as it read: “Come back soon.”

Another banner with Mourinho’s name was also spotted in the background of the image indicating they want him to have a second spell with Los Merengues.

On the other hand, Mourinho is currently struggling with the Red Devils at Old Trafford as his side are seventh on the table, 14 points behind leaders Manchester United.

Mourinho spent three seasons in the Spanish capital and won one La Liga title and a Copa del Rey.

Madrid President Florentino Perez is also a fan of Mourinho and recent reports are already suggesting the Portuguese could be approached.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Real Madrid suffered their first defeat under new manager Santiago Solari following their 3-0 defeat to seventh place Eibar in the La Liga.

Gonzalo Escalante opened scoring for the hosts barely 16 minutes after a disappointing defensive error in Los Blancos’ danger zone.

Sergi Enrich doubled the lead in the 52nd minute and Kike finished off a famous 3-0 win for Eibar three minutes before the hour mark.
