Rev. Owusu Bempah storms Radio XYZ with gangsters

Founder and Leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International Rev. Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has reportedly stormed Accra based radio station, Radio XYZ, Friday March 15 with some security operatives in search of broadcaster journalist ‘Mugabe’.

Rev. Owusu Bempah’s anger comes a day after former President John Mahama called out the prophet for false claims against him.

Mugabe is alleged to have insulted Rev Owusu Bempah on air following the controversial pastor’s revelation that former President John Mahama was allegedly planning to kill some top officials of the government including Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia.

A worker at Radio XYZ disclosed to this portal that, “When he arrived at the premises he threatened to shoot anyone who would distract him. Where is Mugabe? He thinks he is powerful eh? I will finish him”, Owusu Bempah is reported to have said.

“The guys he came with nearly shot in the air. One lady who tried filming the act got her phone ceased,” the eyewitness added.

The founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International in an interview on Oman FM alleged that some members of the National Democratic Congress including Mahama are scheming to eliminate the president and vice president Mahamudu Bawumia.

However, Mahama in a statement has rubbished such claims by whom he described as “a politically-tainted founder of a church.”

“It is disgraceful that someone who claims to be a prophet of God would readily agree to be used to broadcast lies emanating from a vivid imagination instead of preaching the word of God. Never in the entire account of the bible has there been any anointed prophet of God who only praises a king and turns a blind eye to the evils committed in his reign”, the statement said.

Arrest Owusu Bempa Now – Radio XYZ Management Tells Police

Meanwhile the management of the XYZ Broadcasting Company Limited, operators of Radio XYZ, has called for the arrest of the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah for storming its premises on Friday morning in an attempt to assault a presenter of the station, Salifu Maase, alias Mugabe.

Management of the radio station in a statement said, Rev Owusu Bempah threatened to kill Mugabe, thus, have reported the threat to the East Legon Police command.

The management of radio XYZ further called on the security agencies to protect Mugabe and all staff of the station.
