Everton star Richarlison has admitted that he is aiming to win the Premier League’s Golden Boot this season after a quick start.
The Brazilian has hit the ground running since arriving at Goodison Park from Watford in a £40million deal, having scored three goals in two appearances in the league.
Now, the 21-year-old has admitted he is dreaming big after such a fast start, believing he can be the top scorer in England ahead of the likes of Mo Salah, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.
“I feel more prepared, I already know the rhythm and style of the Premier League, which helps me on the way to the achievements,” Richarlison told UOL.
“I want to be the top scorer of the league, take Everton back to the Champions League and reach the Brazilian national team.
“I was anxious during the call-ups on Friday. I watched with a lot of expectation, but sadly it wasn’t this time,” he said.
“Even so, I’m still hopeful and I want to be prepared if the opportunity arrives in the future.”
