A new transfer rumor has emerged claiming Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, is planning his next move if Manchester United fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The former Real Madrid star is targeting a move to Paris St-Germain – which could see him link up with Argentina forward Lionel Messi and Brazilian star Neymar.
The report describes Ronaldo move to the France club as ‘high on his agenda’.
Ronaldo is considering what to do next in Portugal. He flew to his homeland at the weekend, after being left out of Sunday’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester City. Interim boss Ralf Rangnick claimed his absence was down to a hip injury, although not everybody is sold on that.
Ronaldo has also ruled out a return to Juventus, while a reunion with Sporting CP is ‘highly unlikely’.
