THE KNUST Hospital, in Kumasi, has taken delivery of assortments of medical equipments to boost their operations.
The items, worth a staggering Gh 85,000, is to help the Children’s Department of the hospital to function properly.
The donation was made by the Rotary Club of Kumasi, led by its President, Ing. Nana Poku Agyeman, on Wednesday.
The items include two incubators, two suction machines, one phototherapy light and one patient monitor.
The other medical equipments presented by Rotary were two pulse oximeters and two patient trolleys, among others.
Ing. Nana Poku said the donation formed part of the 55 years anniversary of the Rotary Club of Kumasi, which is being marked this year.
He said Rotary Club has over the years assisted the needy in society, hoping the items would be put to good use.
Prof Obiri Danso, the KNUST Vice Chancellor, receiving the items, thanked Rotary Club for a good job done.
