Brazil knocked out of World Cup, lose 2-1 to Belgium.
Brazilian own goal gave Belgium the lead and Kevin De Bruyne made it two almost getting to end of the first half.
Brazil hounded Belgium in the second and got a goal out of it but fell short in the end..
Belgium ended Brazil’s dream of a sixth World Cup title when they beat the South Americans 2-1 in a dramatic, enthralling end-to-end quarter-final on Friday to earn a semi-final tie against France.
Brazil dominated the opening stages, with Thiago Silva hitting the post, but went behind when midfielder Fernandinho put the ball into his own net from a corner in the 13th minute.
Kevin De Bruyne scored the second and Brazil were trailing 2-0 at half-time. Renato Augusto scored in the second half as Brazil hounded Belgium.
But that turned out to be the only goal of the match for them and it ended 2-1 in favour of Belgium.
France will then meet Belgium on Tuesday 11 July 2018 to decide team to play at the finals.
