Samini Energetic Performance At Saminifest 2018

Samini, after being honored recently on a visit to Wa, geared up for his week-long festival dubbed Saminifest ’18.

The program which Commenced on the 15th of December, he did a clean-up exercise within the Dansoman Municipality. It continues with an industry launch on the 17th of December at the Multichoice office in Accra while overseeing a donation to the pupils of Enough Grace Academy in Awoshie the following day.

The 5th day of the week-long festival saw host the 4th activity on the itinerary, characterised by a Masterclass lecture by Samini in the Dance Studio of the School of Performing Arts of the University of Ghana, Legon.

It didn’t end till the Ghana Armed Forces host the HighGrade family CEO at the launch of the Funky Millionaires Band at the Pay Regiment inside Burma Camp, Accra on the 21st of December.

After all was said and done, the real climax of Saminifest ’18 went down at the Osu Oxford Street, where the crowned king of live band performances, treated fans and music lovers to a live band concert.

It was poised to be a road-blocking mega outdoor jam to seal off the year with pure entertaining of hits from the days of Batman’s ‘Linda’ who played a role in opening global doors with Samini’s ‘Master Key’.

This year’s Saminifest was another blast as thousands of fans trooped to the Osu Oxford Street to witness the annual event headlined by Highgrade Family boss, Samini.

Samini who celebrated his birthday on the same day also released his Untamed album to celebrate the day.

Some acts that performed on the night included Kwame Partan, Teephlow, Edem, Agbeshie and a whole lot of artistes. Saminifest has always been his hallmark performing with a live band for close to two hours. Linda, Gyae Hye, Tempo, Sweet Mistake, Iskoki and many other hit songs were performed by Samini.
