Popular Ghanaian sports journalist, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has been named as the General Manager of Zylofon Media.
The revelation was made during the launch of Zylofon Properties in Accra, on Friday night. Sannie, who is known for his excellence in sports reporting, has worked for the BBC and owns GhanaSoccernet as well. He has been the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association for many years.
Sannie Daara was one of the casualties when Anas’ Number 12 Investigative Piece rocked the nation.
In as much as Daara sought to exonerate himself, the Ghanaian Court of Public Opinion had already proclaimed their verdict – Daara was pronounced guilty.
“When one door closes, another one opens”. The doors to the G.F.A was slammed to the face of Daara, only for the doors of Zylofon Media to open graciously, at the sight of his availability.
Sannie Daara brings on board his rich experience in the field of journalism and politics as he previously worked with British Broadcasting Corporation [BBC], Confederation of African Football [CAF] amongst a host of many others.
Sannie Daara holds a Masters degree in International Journalism from Cardiff University, in the United Kingdom.
