The Seed Funds Savings and Loans Limited (TSF), over the weekend, organized a clean-up exercise at the Kaneshie Market to mark the Company’s fourth anniversary.
The initiative, which was intended to give back to the community through the clean-up exercise, brought together about 150 participants from various branches of the Company and some members of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA). It was also meant to help promote environmental hygiene among the citizenry.
Participants were divided into two groups, with one cleaning the main Kaneshie Lorry station, and the other group taking care of the area towards the Kaneshie Police station. They desilted gutters, weeded the bushy areas and swept the surroundings.
Speaking after the exercise, the CEO of TSF, Mr. Albert Mmegwa, noted that as a socially-responsible company, TSF is committed to promoting good environmental practices.
“This is not going to be the first time we are embarking on a clean-up exercise with the Communities. As has always been our tradition, The Seed Funds will continue to support the communities in which we operate.
“We are hopeful that this exercise becomes a daily routine to ensure a clean, safe and a healthy environment for us all,” Mr. Mmegwa added.
The Seed Funds Savings and Loans is amongst the leading Savings and Loans companies in the country. Since its inception in 2014, it has developed structures and pillars which have ensured their consistent growth in the financial industry in Ghana.
