Sex for favours isn’t a sin – Singer Meesha
Music songstress Meesha, says sex for favours is not a big deal adding that, the practice has increased in all area of life among students.
According to her, there is absolutely nothing wrong with people using what they have to get what they want.
Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz over the recent BBC Africa Eye documentary “sex for grades”, Meesha, whose real name is Mishasha Essien, admitted that sex for favour comes with its own burden, such as the guilt the person would feel.
“I don’t find anything wrong with people using what they have to get what they want, once they are okay with it and feel what is in it is worth going for. In the music industry, it is there, just as it is in every sector but I will not be an advocate to kick against it.
“It is normal, I mean sometimes if you compare the guy you willingly give yourself to who will end up breaking your heart or cheat on you to the other one that has something tangible to give you, you may want to go for the latter and that is fine by me,” she said.
Meesha is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics and Financial Analysis in Canada and said if there was any artiste she would want to work with, it would be Stonebwoy.
“I would love to work with Stone because I am an Afrobeats artiste and he is also into that genre so he is a perfect fit for me,” she said.
