Shatta Wale calls for Bhim region and Shatta Movement region

Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has charged President Akufo-Addo to as a matter of urgency create an additional two regions to the already 16 regions.

He made the call when both himself and Stonebwoy hosted the media today, June 4, 2019 to announce a truce after a brawl at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The two have since triggered processes to patch up after both camps released photos of a ceasefire session organised by philanthropist Kofi Abban.

Speaking at the peace conference ahead of the Unity concert dubbed Ghana First between the two musicians, Shatta Wale said, it will be necessary to get a region in his name as well as his brother Stonebwoy.

”People think we as musicians don’t know what we are about but it’s never true. These fans have been with us from day one and they really do listen to us. Stonebwoy runs a Nation, I do same and I would even like to say, the government should get Bhim region and Shatta Movement Region” he said.

On their future relationship with Charterhouse, Stonebwoy said they are open to do business with anyone who is willing to work with them

“We are willing and open to work with whoever is ready to work with us. If they do lift the ban, we are willing to work as professionals and we will do things right”. he indicated.

The two popular Ghanaian musicians were arrested two weeks ago over a brawl on stage during the music awards. The Police are investigating the immediate cause of the near-violent clash that ensued between their fans at the event.
