Shatta Wale Not Invited By Police – Eklu

The Police Administration says it has not invited Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale for any questioning over allegations he had threatened to burn down church buildings.

There were media reports that the controversial Dancehall artiste had been picked up by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command for questioning following the arson threats.

But speaking to THE PUBLISHER in an interview yesterday, ACP David Eklu, the Director-General of the Police Public Affairs, was empathic that Shatta Wale has not been invited.

He said “…no, he [Shatta Wale] has not been invited, that’s all I can say”.

Shatta Wale on Sunday issued a stern warning to some men of God to desist from prophesying he will die soon.

He had served notice that if he is alive by December this year, he will march together with his Shatta Movement (SM) members to burn down the churches of those ‘fake’ pastors.

Shatta Wale contended that the only person who will stop him from taking such an action is the President.

Shatta’s comments followed reports and videos popping up particularly on social media that some pastors prophesied Ebony Reigns death long before she died in an accident last Thursday.

Shatta Wale said he would not tolerate prophesies about his sudden end.

Although, Shatta Wale did not mention names of the supposed ‘fake pastors’, he warned in a 3:40 seconds video posted on Facebook, that no one should gamble with his life because he is a pro when it comes to such hide and seek games.

Shatta Wale said no one should try to show him God or the Bible because he knows the almighty and the Bible very well.

He questioned how present-day pastors are living flashy and extravagant lives when Jesus was never about that.

SHATTA WALE WILL NOT DIE

Meanwhile, popular Prophet, Rev, Isaac Owusu Bempah of the Glorious Word Ministry has said it is untrue Shatta Wale would die anywhere soon.

“Shatta Wale will not die anytime soon. He has a long life and I prophesy long life into him and into his career. He would grow and become a bigger artiste”, Rev. Owusu Bempah said on Okay FM Tuesday morning.

Owusu Bempah described as unfair and unethical for Prophets to publicly name persons and say they would die soon.

He advised that there could be a more refined and dignified way of going about it so as not to create a situation of fear and panic.
