Shatta Wale Proposes Marriage To Michy At ‘Reign’ Album Launch

Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has finally proposed marriage to his baby Mama Shatta Michy on stage as he thrilled fans at the launch of his much anticipated Reign Album.

At the fantasy Dome at Trade Fair in Accra last night,  Shatta Wale appeared on stage to perform with his longtime fiance and to the surprise of his millions of fans Shatta Wale knelt before Shatta Michy to propose marriage to her.

There had been pressure on Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy to get married this year after some close friemds in the industry decided to take the firm steps by settling down with their other halves.

After performing their joint song, ‘Low Tempo’ together, Shatta Wale paused in the middle of the performance for some few seconds to interact with the fans.

“Shatta Michy,” he called her name, went down on one knee, proposed to her, and stood up to put a ring on his baby mama’s finger.

A visibly surprised Shatta Michy was simply lost for words during the entire process. She just opened her mouth in awe.

After that surprise, the lovebirds shared a long passionate kiss on stage amidst loud cheers and chants from their teeming fans while their three-year-old son, Majesty, wandered on the stage. After the kiss, they performed ‘BulletProof’ together while intermittently holding hands.

The ‘Reign’ concert and album launch was held, Saturday, at the Fantasy Dome. The event attracted thousands of music enthusiasts and fans. Aside Shatta Wale and Michy, The Militants, Xylo, Smokey Beatz and Efe Keyz were among artistes who graced the stage.
