Dance hall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale paid a courtesy call on the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Iain Walker at his office yesterday.
Shatta Wale who went with his management team met with the diplomat to nurse plans of embarking on collaborative projects.
He took the opportunity to sell his brand to Iain by presenting a branded Shatta Movement T-Shirt and CDs containing a compilation of his songs.
Meanwhile Shatta Wale has released his latest single ‘Gringo’ together with the video which has been captured in a short film, directed by internationally-recognized video director, Sesan, for Film Factory and produced by David Nguyen.
The film would show for the first time across Africa on MTVBase, Channel 322 on the ‘Spanking New’ show, on Friday, April 27, 2018.
Shot in the province of Blanco, Texas, USA, at the Buggy Barn Museum and cast in the 1880s, the film cast over 20 international actors in what is arguably tagged as the most expensive video shot by any homegrown artiste from Africa.
