MANY celebrities have fallen victim to social media trolling for various reasons. For some it is for their size, comments they have made in public, their secret relationships or sometimes, for nothing at all.
Actresses Princess Shyngle, Moesha Bodoung among others, have been victims to the troll, and they have over the period spoken against the negative impact it can have on people.
The latest victims are the 2019 winners of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant, who were criticized on Twitter yesterday following, their photographs that were shared on social media.
Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi, winner of the contest, alongside Sarah Odei Amoani and Deborah Opoku Sarfo, 1st and 2nd runners up respectively had their pictures shared on Citi TV’s twitter page as they readied for a live studio interview.
The pictures, which were taken while the ladies were on set, stoked conversation on Twitter with tweets suggesting that the ladies were not beautiful enough to represent the Miss Ghana brand. Other even alleged they may have won because of ‘favours’.
“I hope she won’t be representing for Miss World, like i go make my granny represent,” one user wrote.
