Spotify Music Streaming: Sarkodie Tops With 9 Million
Rapper Sarkodie has released his analytic evaluation of his usual overall performance on track streaming platform, Spotify.
The Highest boss as many describe him is the most streamed Ghanaian artiste on world-renowned music streaming platform Spotify for the year 2018.
The BET Award-winning musician surpassed Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy when he showed off his Spotify 2018 Wrap statistics on his social media platforms.
Sarkodie who dropped his ‘Highest’ album last year, garnered 9 million streams on Spotify with 1 million fans being attentive to his music on the platform from 65 different countries places in the world.
The fans spent 602 hours listening to his music on the platform. With the reviews we’ve seen so far from Ghanaian musicians, Sarkodie appears to be the highest streamed Ghanaian artiste on the platform.
Shatta Wale is the second most streamed artiste with 6million streams from his 500k plus fans across 66 countries around the world.
Stonebwoy, who places third, had 4million streams from his 300k plus fans across 65 countries.
Sarkodie has over the period been very opinionated on issues of governance and leadership for betterment.
In the past he has done songs about pertinent issues plaguing society, he has taken leaders on for their mistakes and given hope to the youth in similar compositions.
He is currently out with a cypher ‘Biibiba’ which features 10 up and coming rappers.
