Stephen Ntim Fires Up Campaign

A TOP CONTENDER for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairmanship position, Stephen Ntim, has assured his supporters that complacency would not be entertained in his campaign, which has now taken full gear.

According to him, even though he was aware of the virtual acclamation he was receiving from delegates across the length and breadth of the country, he would not allow that positive feeling to take the better part of him.

He promised to display the same energy, focus and determination till the last day of the race, which is slated for June, this year.

“The grounds are fertile for me. All the places and the constituencies that I have visited, you could see that it is indeed Ntim’s time to be the chairman of NPP. But I will not allow that positive feeling to get into my head.

“I will still continue campaigning hard and spread my message that would make the NPP stronger than ever before in order for the party to win the 2020 and other elections easily without sweat”, he said.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Ntim said: “All the constituencies are saying that indeed Ntim, it’s your time to lead our party as national chairman. If I rely on what the delegates are saying, I will stop the campaign and sleep.

“For now, I know that, surely, the delegates, who are the kingmakers in our party, have resolved to honour me with a massive victory, but I will continue working hard until victory becomes a reality”.

Mr. Ntim, who is gunning for the chairmanship position, after three previous unsuccessful attempts, recounted his huge financial and logistical contributions to the party in the past, which, he noted, had helped to bring the NPP to its current level.

He indicated his preparedness to introduce better policies and strategies that would make the NPP the most vibrant and attractive political party in the country so that winning elections would not be a difficult task for the party.
