Stephen Ntim Grabs Chieftaincy Title in Upper West

The Aspiring National Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Stephen Ntim, has been enskinned as a Chief in Dafiama Bussie Issah constituency of the Upper West Region. A short ceremony was done in the constituency when the aspirant visited the region for his campaign.

His traditional name that goes with the skin (position) is Naa Tukaata, which means “to follow or pursue something to its logical conclusion.” This was conferred on him by the people of Dafiama Bussie Issah constituency of the region. According to the Land Owners and the people of Dafiana Bussie Issah, Ntim has served his party and Ghana faithfully in the midst of all difficulties. This is the man who has contested for the National Chairmanship position for three consecutive times and despite the losses, he continues to serve the party faithfully. He is a role model to the younger generation of the party. Nana Addo had to go through a similar experience till he eventually became president. They encouraged him never to give up on the party and that in due, he will be rewarded accordingly.

Stephen Ntim is a leading member of the New Patriotic Party. He was the former National First Vice Chairman of the party under the leadership of Harona Esseku when the party successfully won the 2004 elections whiles in power. He is known for his enduring character and for possessing a never giving up spirit that has characterised his political life since 1992. He is contesting for the position of National Chairman for the fourth time and remains very hopeful that the delegates will give him the nod to lead the party this time around. His slogan is Time Asoo Time Aso.
