Stonebwoy Flies Higher …As Voltic Signs Him Brand Ambassador
Ghana’s dancehall king, Stonebwoy, has been unveiled as the face of Voltic, a mineral water-producing company in the country.
The leading water bottling firm is said to have signed a 2-year deal with the award-winning artist, banking on him to use his influence and clout to project the brand to higher heights.
According to reliable sources, the ambassadorial deal could be subsequently renewed, based on terms and conditions.
Born Livingstone Etse Satekla, Stonebwoy, 31, began making music in his early school days.
After contesting in a rap battle group, known as the Kasahare Level at a tender age, he caught the eye of Samini, who quickly signed him on to his Label.
Under Samini Music, he recorded his first hit single Climax, featuring Samini and subsequently Ghetto Love, featuring Irene Logan. Both songs earned him nominations at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Now a father of two, Stonebwoy is currently a household name in Ghana. Some of his popular songs include Baafira, Pull Up, Not Again, Bhim Nation, Go Higher, Tia Tia, Mightylele, Hero, People Dey, Run Go, Guy Guy, among others.
