STRANGE PEOPLE INVADE TAABUOM …Residents Cry For Help

RESIDENTS OF Atimatim Taabuom, in the Ashanti Region, are presently living in fear, following the sudden ‘invasion’ of the hitherto peaceful community by some strange people.

Numbering about one thousand, the strangers, mostly males and suspected to be foreigners, are said to be living in a rented house in the town.

An inscription, detailing how to get rich fast is said to be boldly written in front of their rented house.

Residents of the area suspect that the people are into money rituals so they are gripped with fear.

The fear-stricken residents on Sunday protested and demanded the immediate deportation of the strangers from the area.

Kwadwo Morgan, a resident of Tabuom, confirmed the incident during a chat with Nhyira FM in Kumasi, saying “these people might be in rituals so we are scared that they might kill our children and women”.

According to him, residents had already tasked the traditional authority to drive the people from town before it’s too late.
