SIX SUSPECTS believed to be involved in the recent killing of a student at Effiduase Senior High School (SHS) are due for court today.
The identities of the six have not been disclosed to the public yet by the police. However, information making rounds indicate that all six suspects are male, including four old students and two continuing students of the school.
It is recalled that a first-year student of the Effiduase SHS was stabbed to death by some suspected armed robbers outside the school campus on October 15, this year.
The deceased and another student, who are both in the boarding house, were on their way to watch a football match outside the campus when they were attacked.
The deceased was reportedly stabbed to death because he refused to surrender his mobile phone to his attackers. The other student, who surrendered his money and phone, was spared.
The police have been able to arrest six suspects, who are due for court today. Efforts are also being made to arrest two other suspects, who are currently on the run.
