PLANS ARE at an advanced stage for the construction of a modern clinic in Kwapra in the Suame Municipality to help boost healthcare delivery for the people.
Funding for the health facility would be taken care of by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) but the exact cost of the project has not been disclosed.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who is also the Majority Leader of Parliament, made the disclosure on radio, recently.
According to him, the construction of the clinic is his brainchild, disclosing that talks were still ongoing to enable the project to become a reality very soon.
He said the health needs of his constituents remain dear to his heart and so he would do everything legally possible to help improve healthcare facilities in Suame.
The Majority Leader also disclosed that there are plans to build a new hospital in Suame Magazine, which is arguably the largest vehicle artisan hub in the country.
According to him, the country’s developmental aspirations would be given a massive boost, especially when the citizenry are healthy and strong at all times.
In this regard, the Suame Lawmaker gave an assurance that he would use his expertise and energy to help bring new medical facilities to his constituency to make healthcare delivery closer to the people.
