ALHAJI ALI Suraj, a former Deputy Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) USA branch, has ranked Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as the best vice president in Ghana’s political history.
According to him, Dr. Bawumia’s efficiency and visionary nature has come to bare in less than four years in political office. He added that the vice president is a force to reckon with in Ghana politics now.
In an interview with The New Publisher, Suraj said President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government has overly become successful in political office, partly due to Dr. Bawumia’s important roles. “Without doubt, Dr. Bawumia is the most vociferous, visible, hardworking and visionary vice president in the rich political history of our country so far”, Ali Suraj declared.
Ali Suraj, a proud Zongo man, who commands a lot of respect and influence in the Zongo communities, said Dr. Bawumia’s efforts has helped to transform the Zongo areas in less than four years period.
“I have read, listened and followed running mates and vice presidents from 1979 to date, and I can proudly say without any shred of ambiguity that my brother, Dr. Bawumia, a Zongo man, is the best.
“His eloquence, deep understanding of governance and what it means to bring development to a country is simply unmatched”, Ali Suraj, who is seen as a hero by NPP members in the Zongo areas, stated.
He said allegations by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that Dr. Bawumia would not be allowed to work should the NPP win the 2016 polls, has fallen flat in the face of the NDC.
“The NDC propagandists must now bow their heads in complete shame because their naysaying and negative predictions about the intelligent and visionary Alhaji Dr. Bawumia, has failed to materialise.
“Dr. Bawumia as Vice President, is doing magic with his in-depth knowledge of the economy, technology and above all, his unique managerial skills to compliment the efforts of his boss, President Akufo-Addo”.
Ali Suraj stated that indeed Dr. Bawumia deserves his newly coined nickname “Data and Technology Kingpin”, adding that the Zongo people and the youth in Ghana see Dr. Bawumia as beacon of hope.
“Dr. Bawumia today represents hope the youth, the intellectual community and the entire country and the Zongo people are proud of him”, Ali Suraj said, adding that Dr. Bawumia has a bright political future.
On the upcoming elections, he boldly predicted that the NPP would comfortably secure a first round victory on December 7, adding that the party has performed exceptionally well in less than four years.
Ali Suraj also entreated people living in the Zongo communities to rally behind the NPP to retain power and continue with their splendid works for the country, especially in the Zongo communities.
