Young business tycoon and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tsk Records And Multimedia, Tebi Stephen Kwadwo popularly known as TSK has advanced his scope of businesses to higher heights.
The new adventure he has added to his series of businesses is Tebi SK Trading which he says would be an avenue for selling and buying of iron rods, quality equipment for building among others at affordable prices.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with The New Publisher in Accra, TSK said his new business adventure would help add up to the solution of the high rise of unemployment in the country and as well broaden the scope of quality things for construction of buildings.
“Tebi SK Trading would serve as one of the solutions to the high level of unemployment; help to put people especially the youths at a good score of working extensively hard for money. It will actually be one of the biggest and largest trading shops we have in the country; there are several branches I intend to add up all over the country. For now, the branches are located at Amasaman, Oyibi and Agbogba. Quality goods and construction materials will be my trademark for good customer liability. We are in a country where young people suffer even after acquiring all the certificates in their respective schools. I’ve met many young people telling me, their certificates are not working for them in Ghana.
“I want to maintain a trend that, young people don’t necessarily need to be graduates, get all the certificates before gaining success. You can at any particular time if only you set up your mind on it. Even aside that, I want to get many young and ambitious people into job securement to make Ghana and the world at large a better place. Uber operations are part of the series of plans, I’ve started with five Ubers for now, and expansion is expected to be the main point soon. My only worry at times is getting trustworthy and loyal youths to handle these business-nesses. If you’re not lucky to get good people to supervise, it becomes a burden on its growth but I pray and hope this becomes a different story full of future growth and success”
He added, “Ghana is faced with 12% youth unemployment and more than 50% underemployment, both higher than overall unemployment rates in Sub-Saharan African countries. Despite major investments by both government and private sector, this challenge is still intensifying. To tackle youth unemployment, we need to have disaggregated data on youth jobseekers by location, gender, skills and capabilities to inform policy and funding decisions and respond with appropriate and tailored employment programs.”
Tebi Stephen Kwadwo as one person from 2016 to 2020 spearheaded and supervised talent management to greater heights in the creative arts industry of Ghana.
