Tema Port: Josephine Asante Stabbed To Death In her Home

The Marketing and Public Affairs Manager at the Tema Port, Josephine Asante, has been stabbed to death at her residence at community 25 in Tema.

A source with knowledge about the incident said she was attacked and killed in her bedroom soon after she returned from a Senior Staff Party yesterday, Saturday January 12, 2019 in the night.

The source said after killing the victim, the perpetrators locked her inside the bedroom and threw the key into the compound.

The deceased’s children are said to have discovered the body after they did not see her in the morning and tried opening her door, but found it locked and the keys later found in the compound.

Some staff of GPHA have trooped to the residence of the deceased as management is working with the police to convey the body to the morgue for the commencement of investigations into the incident.

Available information indicates, the killers did not steal any item from her home even though several valuables were displayed in her room and were glaring enough to attract attention.
