Thief squats with stolen roofing sheets

A SUSPECTED thief, who is said to be a specialist in the stealing of roofing sheets, will certainly turn a new leaf and stop stealing going forward after what he experienced when his most recent stealing attempt went wrong.

An instant justice (or injustice depending on how one sees it) was applied to him when he was caught trying to steal bundles of new roofing sheets at Krofrom in Kumasi.

The captors of the man, reputed to be a specialist thief, cruelly ordered him to carry heavy bundles of the stolen roofing sheets on his head as he did some squats as corporal punishment.

The specialist, whose name is not known, in a viral video on social media, was seen with loads of roofing sheets on his head as he did some squats.

About five young men were seen holding sticks and belts as the thief, believed to be in his late 20’s, was carrying roofing sheets on his head.

The young men then ordered the man, who was clearly struggling to carry the heavy roofing sheets on his head, to do some squats as punishment.

One of the young men in the short video lamented that the specialist thief successfully stole some roofing sheets belonging to them few days ago unnoticed.

According to him, this same thief tried to steal another roofing sheets from them again but he was not lucky as he was caught at the last minute.

He said if the thief is taken to the police station, he (thief) would certainly be granted a bail and go scot free, hence their decision to punish him.
