Toilet Project For Afrancho School

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Affigya Kwabre South, Christian Adu Poku, has cut the sod for the construction of a 10-seater modern toilet facility.

On that same day, he also cut the sod for works to officially commence for the building of a 6-Unit classroom block project, which boasts of an office and staff common room.

The two aforementioned projects, valued at Gh 625,000, are taking place on the compound of Afrancho D/A Cluster of Schools in the Affigya Kwabre South District.

Christian Adu Poku informed the media that the two projects are being financed through GETFUND and they are both expected to be completed this year.

According to him, the Afrancho D/A Cluster of schools doesn’t have any proper toilet facility, a situation that adversely affects both students and teaching staff.

The DCE, who is a former teacher of the school, noted that his office had received several requests for help from the school authorities, leading to the two big projects.

Christian Adu Poku implored the school authorities and residents of Afrancho in general, to give the needed support to the contractor so the project would be completed on time.

He also admonished the pupils to shun bad friends and all social vices, and rather concentrate on their books so that they would grow to become influential leaders in future.
