Top gospel musicians ready for Remedi Praise 2022

Gospel musician Empress Gifty, Luigi McLean, Jayana, Getty & Friends, Papa Owura, Kofi Owusu Peprah, are part of top gospel musicians scheduled to perform at the second edition of annual gospel event dubbed Remedi Praise.

The event organized by Mr. Daniel Lartey, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Remedi Entertainment would happen on Sunday April 10, 2022 at the ICGC Prayer Temple Agbogba at exactly 4pm

Speaking to The New Publisher, Mr. Lartey explained the event is aimed at giving praise to the Most High God for his mercies and kindness.

In addition, he indicated it is also to raise funds to support the poor and needy in society and also mark his birthday celebration.

Profile of Dan Lartey

Daniel Lartey known professionally as Dan Lartey was born on Sunday, 9th April 1989. A Ga who hails from Jamestown, born to Amos Lartey and Mrs Esther Asieduah Lartey from James Town and Larteh Akuapem respectively.

Daniel has 4 siblings; two sisters (Grace Lartey & Mercy Lartey) and two brothers (Richard Amankwandoh & Isaac Lartey).

With a career spanning over a decade, Dan has gathered enough experience as a writer, promoter, researcher and many more.

Presently, he works as a broadcast journalist with Power FM and TV XYZ and the CEO of Remedi Entertainment; a research and promotions outfit. The organisation was established on October 17, 2018.

Daniel started his media work in 2010 after his formal education at Jem radio and television institute. Soon after, he worked with Pink FM, Enyidado FM and later joined Flex newspaper as a writer whiles teaching at Kasoa. He worked with Flex newspaper for 6years.

Dan taught in 3 schools (Great Star, Eno Boanimah Memorial Academy and Opportunity School) all in Kasoa.

Dan Lartey has worked with several musicians on a promotional basis and served on boards on various music awards across the country and beyond. Notably amongst them is Ghana Music Awards UK and USA respectively.

He has also contributed to Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) as a musical research for several years.

In 2015, he promoted Lumba and Great Ampong’s ‘hosanna’. He also promoted Joyce Blessing from 2016 to 2018.

Other promoted musicians include eShun (2018), MOG (2019), Eba, Richie Rich, Danso Abeam.

Aside from promotion, the one-time nominee for the People’s Celebrity Award has taken on managerial roles of artists like Mabel Okyere, Mama Boat and Mel Blak who are all now award-winning musicians.

As a researcher, Dan works with many music and media award schemes in the country.
