Trotro operators sit-down strike leaves commuters stranded
Commuters who use the services of the Coalition of Commercial Transport Owners have been left stranded in various parts of the country.
This comes as a result of an indefinite nationwide strike to protest the High cost of fuel prices in the country by the Coalition.
According to the Coalition, the government for the past two weeks has failed to heed their calls for some taxes to be scrapped off.
No commercial vehicle is allowed to work.
Drivers who dare defy the directive are compelled to alight their passengers or risk having their vehicles damaged.
Some commuters after several failed attempts to secure a vehicle say they are left with no other alternative than to stay off work for today.
