Tsunami Hits Kotoko Express

The future of Kotoko Express Newspaper, the official mouthpiece of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, looks bleak, following unpleasant reports of massive resignation of staff at the stable recently.

Key among people who have recently resigned from the paper was Jerome Otchere, the news editor, who sources say had tendered in his resignation letter to management.

What prompted Otchere to ‘ditch’ The Express at this time has not been officially disclosed as at the time of filing this report. But deep-throat sources, however, alleged that operational difficulties, coupled with other problems, precipitated Otchere’s exit.

The Kotoko Express Newspaper has been the official mouthpiece of Kumasi Asante Kotoko for many years, and teeming supporters of the Kumasi-based club have for decades relied on the paper for updates on happenings in the club.
