The Council of the University of Ghana (UG) has appointed Prof Justice Nyigmah Bawole and Prof. Lydia Aziato as the substantive Dean of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and School of Nursing and Midwifery (SoNM) respectively.
Prof Bawole before his current appointment was the Head of Department for Public Administration and Health Services Management. He succeeds Prof Joshua Yindenaba Abor.
Lydia Aziato on her side replaced Prof Ernestina Donkor, as Acting Dean from 2017 to 2019 and with her attainment of the rank of Associate Professor, she has now been appointed as the substantive Dean by the council of UG.
With the appointment of Lydia, UG has gotten its first Dean of SoNM, since it was granted a school status in 2003.
Both are tasked to use their expertise acquired over the period to help develop affairs of the Universities for better future sequence.
