Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, on Thursday, January 7, 2021 ended up on the floor of Parliament as NPP and NDC MPs argued over who should be allowed to sit on the majority side of Parliament.
The Members of Parliament elected from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) earlier during the selection of a Speaker for the House occupied seats on the majority side of the House.
Earlier, the NDC MPs were seen taking the names of the NPP MPs, who initially occupied that side, off the desks.
However Ursula insisted to sit in the area despite calls by the NDC MPs for her to vacate her seat and join her colleagues at the Minority side of the house causing a melee in the process.
She was later pushed by a colleague off her chair.
