The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency and Minister for Communications and Digitalisation, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has organised mock examination for all persons preparing for the 2023 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the constituency as part of her annual commitment to help prepare the candidates for the main exams.
3,470 (1,777 females and 1,693 males) Junior High School finalists in the Constituency are set to partake in the Examinations.
Speaking to some of the candidates writing the mock exam, Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful tasked them to focus on their books and excel in the exams.
“We know that your teachers have taught you and we expect you to revise your notes and do us proud. This mock is to prepare you for the actual exam and boost your confidence level. It will give you an idea of how to answer your questions. Learn hard and eschew fear” she told the candidates.”
She added, “Your parents, your teachers, the education directorate, the constituency, and myself are all behind you in this exam. Always remember that I have been like you before. Hence, you can always be like me too or better than any of us. It will depend on the efforts you put in this exam. I trust you; I believe in you and I know you will excel in the exams. I wish you the best of luck.”
In addition, she went to the Dansoman School for the Disabled to interact with the students.
