Veep Boy Jabs Mahama – Tells Him To Stop The Lies

Spokesperson to the vice president Dr. Gideon Boako has explained that the country will see massive infrastructure next year.

He says with a major financial boost from the china synahydro deal, the country’s economy will be improved.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Programme, he added the NPP government is focused and will not be left distracted by the NDC.

”Within the first two years of this government, better policies have been implemented. No government, not even former president’s Kuffour government achieved what Nana Addo’s administration have achieved in the last 2years” – he said.

According to him, what the new patriotic party has been able to achieve within two years, no government will be able to that.

Under former president John Agyekum Kuffour, most major policies like the Health insurance, the metro mass and other interventions were introduced during his last two (2) years in office.

But looking at the Nana Addo led NPP government, most major policies have been implemented to alleviate the suffering and hardship parents go through to even access quality education for their children.

We have been able to achieve more than what the Mahama led NDC regime could not achieve with its four to eight years in power.

He admits that times are hard for the ordinary Ghanaian but , it is as a result of the mess which was created by the Mahama led NDC government.

He maintained that Ghanaians should be rest assured because that with injection of the 2billion dollars, most road networks across the country will be fixed, some will be repaired, whiles new ones are going to be built with flyovers.

Our economy is also going to receive a major boost when the 2bn dollars capital is injected.

This government is on track and we going to fix every mess created by the erstwhile Mahama regime even if Ghanaians give us a four year mandate.

Dr. Boako has thus advised the former president, Dr. Gideon Boako to stay away from contesting the 2020 elections because he has no chance winning again.

If former president Mahama was my brother, i would have advised him to stay away and not contest the 2020 elections because, he has nothing new to offer Ghanaians.

It will further dent his image and reputation as a revered statesman, he added.

Former President John Mahama who is seeking a re-election took a swipe at the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), for what he says is the economic hardship Ghanaians are facing.

“You can engage in, and tell all the lies to win political power, when you are in government the reality of peoples’ lives will expose you,” the former president tweeted.

Hard times

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently admitted that the economy of Ghana is going through some trying times, settling the political controversy about the state of the economy.

The President, however, dismissed concerns that these difficulties amount to a crisis; assuring his audience that the government is on top of the situation.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Community in New York, USA, Mr Akufo-Addo attributed the difficulties in the system to the “dramatic increase in crude oil prices” and the strengthening of the US dollar
