Veep, Speaker Mourn With Frema

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Speaker of Parliament, Prof Michael Aaron Oquaye  joined the Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei Opare over the weekend to mourn  with her  at the final funeral rite of her late brother ,Joseph Edward Osei.

The Vice President was accompanied by his beautiful wife Samira, former Defence minister Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor and his wife

Other notable personalities who attended the funeral held at the East Legon Fitness and  Executive Club Grounds were  Deputy Chief of SStaff,Samuel Abu Jinapor and his wife, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite ,Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, former Ghanaian International footballer Sammy Kuffuor, Managing Director of ADB, Dr John Kofi Mensah, Chief Executive of GH Express Transport, Ofori Opoku, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman Stephen Ntim, newly elected Greater Accra Regional Chairman of NPP, Divine and hundreds of senior members of the NPP across the country.

The late Joseph Edward Osei, also known as ‘CIA’, died at the age of eighty (80) at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, after short illness.

He left behind three children including the Ayawaso West Wougon constituency NPP Chairman, Jeffrey Edward Osei.
