VGMA20: Kofi Abraham, Mary Ghansah & J.A. Adofo Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Two gospel giants Prof. Kofi Abraham and Rev. Mrs. Mary Ghansah as well as highlife luminary, Obuoba J.A. Adofo have been honoured at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards happening now inside AICC.

The award scheme since its inception in 2000 has for the first time present a Lifetime Achievement Award to two gospel greats, Rev. Mary Ghansah and Prof. Kofi Abraham.

Highlife legend, J. A. Adofo was honoured by organizers for his immense contribution to highlife music and the music industry as a whole in Ghana.

The three musicians have contributed to the gospel and high-life music industry for over four decades and counting.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is adjudged by the Board as a Living Legend of Ghanaian Music whose works must have spanned generations. The artiste may not have released in the year under review.

J.A Adofo in his acceptance speech thanked Charter House for the recognition and expressed how fulfilled he was in receiving the honouring award.
