LAWYER Justin Kodua Frimpong aka ‘JFK’, the newly elected General Secretary of the NPP, has attributed his electoral victory to the help of God.
According to him, the Saturday’s party elections was very difficult but he eventually defeated John Boadu, the incumbent by the grace of God Almighty.
Justin Kodua, who is a staunch Christian, stated that he was confident that the same God would help him to properly lead the NPP to retain power in 2024.
“It was God who gave me victory on Saturday to become NPP Chief Scribe and I am trusting that same God to help me to lead the NPP to victory in 2024”, he said.
It would be recalled that 15 out of the 16 NPP Regional Chairmen, led by Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka ‘Wontumi’, campaigned against Justin Kodua, yet he won.
Commenting on the campaign on Akoma FM, he said he wasn’t expecting every party member to throw his weight behind him during the campaign period.
“Election is about choices, they supported their favourite aspirants and that is legal. Now the polls are over so we shall all work together to win the 2024 polls”.
Justin Kodua, who has promised an all-inclusive administration, said he would reach out to any party member, whose expertise would be needed.
“I have already spoken to my predecessors like John Boadu and Dan Botwe, and I have made them aware that I would be consulting them for advice”, he said.
According to JFK, he has been voted into the high office to serve the NPP in order to help the party to break the eight year reign in 2024 “and I will do just that”.
