VIP Transport Donates to KMA

THE KUMASI Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has taken delivery of a brand new truck and four tricycles at a colourful ceremony in Kumasi.

The largesse was made by VIP Transport Limited as part of its corporate social responsibilities, THE PUBLISHER was reliably informed.

The donation, described by the KMA as timely, also coincided with the ten years anniversary of VIP Transport Ltd.

Making the donation, Mr. Frimpong Adakabre Manso, PRO of VIP Transport Ltd, said as part of the historic occasion, management decided to come to the aid of the KMA and chief executive, Osei Assibey Antwi.

He said the company was impressed with the mayor’s efforts at making Kumasi reclaim her Garden City status, hence the donation of truck and tricycles to boost the chief executive’s vision.

He assured that the donation would not be a nine-day wonder and stressed that VIP Transport would continually assist the KMA to make Kumasi look beautiful.

Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, who received the items, on behalf of the KMA, saluted VIP Transport for the efforts to help beautify Kumasi.

He said the KMA would soon launch a programme where dustbins would be placed at vantage points in the city for people to dump filth into and appealed to corporate bodies and individuals to support the assembly.
